How does DMZ.MY works?

 DMZ.MY works by providing an alternative, more reliable connection for your WoW traffic. This is achieved by using a technique called "SSH Tunneling". When you connect to one of our DMZ.MY servers, a secure link is established and all your WoW traffic is sent through this channel. Our server then relays this traffic to the WoW servers on your behalf via a more reliable route as provided by our datacenter.

This ultimately reduces the latency as your connection to our servers are now travelling on a secure link that is smoother and faster.


How does the Prepaid System works?

 Up until now, all other tunneling service providers charges on a monthly basis. This includes the days where you're probably busy with work, or your ISP is acting up again, or you simply just have other commitments to attend to.

DMZ.MY Prepaid System works by giving you credits days when you make payment. These credit days do not expires and will only be deducted when you login into our servers. So, now you can enjoy fully the total amount of days that you paid for and get the best value for your money.


Will this work for everyone?

 On a general basis, our service will lower your latency/ping and provide you with a much better gaming experience. Unfortunately, there are certain times when our service will not lower your ping, especially if your connection is poor or your connection to our servers is too laggy to begin with.

Of course, the easiest way to test this it to sign up and try our service. In less than 5 minutes you will be in-game and experiencing your better connection.


Can I get a trial account?

 Most definitely.
We want to make sure that it will work for you before you commit to our services. You just need to sign up for a trial account with us, verify your e-mail and get started by following our simple instructions. This trial account is limited to 30 minutes of continuous play, so after 30 minutes, you will be logged off WoW.

We offer a full 7 days FREE trial credit to all our new users, so please follow the instructions attached in our 'Welcome' e-mail.

Once you're happy with our service, you can simply purchase credits from our "Members" portal.


How much does it cost?

 DMZ.MY offers a very attractive and simple pricing structure plans.

Plan 1: RM 20 / USD 6 for a full 30 days credit OR
Plan 2: RM 50 / USD 17 for a full 100 days credit.


How can I pay for your service?

 When you create an account with us, you'll have access to our "Members" portal. You just need to login to our members site and go to the "Credits & Payment" page. We currently accept PayPal payment and bank transfers (principal account with Maybank).


What is your policy on privacy and security?

 We take security and privacy issues very seriously.
When you create an account with us, your password is encrypted and hashed on your browser before it gets sent to our servers. This means that only you and you alone knows your password. No clear text password is ever stored on our servers.

When you login to our servers, we store your login information such as IP addresses and login time and duration in order to process the prepaid credit system. Rest assured that these information is stored safely on our server's database and will NOT be shared with any other party.


Can I login multiple times using the same account?

 No.
When you login to our system, our servers check for duplicated logins and will automatically disconnect any older connection. This is to ensure a fair-usage among all our users.


Program downloads

 DMZ.MY utilizes 2 freeware softwares to establish the connection.
Putty is a SSH client which will connect and log you into our SSH servers while FreeCap will proxify your WoW application to send it's traffic via the established SSH tunnel. These 2 softwares can be downloaded as a package from our site or from their respective websites.

On a separate note, users might want to try out SocksCap or WideCap if FreeCap doesn't necessary work for them.
